                   ○  Timeline: September 2019 - June 2020
                   ○  Major Action Steps: (1) Meet and share critical reading skills and strategies first as an
                       English department each month; (2) Meet with content area teachers quarterly to reiterate
                       and reinforce these skills.

            3.  Continue to strengthen student scores in “Craft and Structure”  and “Integration of Knowledge
               and Ideas” within Literature and Informational texts.  Student scores in both of these categories
               are trending upward, and our goal is to reach 80%, maintaining or exceeding this minimum
               standard expectation.
                   ○  Key Personnel:  ELA teachers
                   ○  Timeline: September 2019 -June 2020
                   ○  Major Action Steps: (1) Review curriculum to confirm these standards are embedded in
                       instruction; (2) Share data and strategies based upon successful results; (3) After sharing
                       data and strategies, teachers will revise lessons as needed and reflect resources and
                       strategies in the written curriculum.
