Section 2. No disciplinary proceedings shall be instituted except for conduct prohibited by law or by the
                         rules and regulations promulgated by a duly constituted authority of the university.


                  2.1. A disciplinary proceeding shall be instituted upon:

                         2.1.1. Filing of written complaint under oath by the student complainant to the OSAS;
                         2.1.2. Submission of official report about the violation of existing rules and regulations.


                  2.2. There  shall  be  an  official  entry  book  for  the  purpose  of specifying the person charged, the
                         complainant and his/her witnesses and the substance of the charge.


                  Section 3. In instances where the dispute is between a student and a faculty or employee, with the student
                         as the respondent, the case shall be handled by the OSAS.


                  Section 4. In cases where the faculty or staff is the respondent, the members of  the   committee   shall
                         be   appointed   by   the   Director   of Instruction/ARA.

                  Section 5. In instances where the dispute is between or among students, the case shall be handled by a
                         special committee which is composed of OSAS Chief/Director, SSC Adviser, SSC President, CCL
                         Chief Justice and CCL Speaker of the House.

                  Section 6. In instances where the dispute is between or among students of the different campuses, the
                         case shall be handled by the University Student Tribunal which composes of SSCF officers, SSC
                         Chief Justices and SSC Speakers of the House.






                  Appendix A ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

                  Section I. CURRICULAR PROGRAMS

                   1.  The University shall offer curricular programs that are in consonance with the regional and national
                       development thrusts of the government.
                   2.  A    Curriculum    Review    and    Evaluation    Committee    in    the University/Campus/College levels
                       shall periodically assess the responsiveness of curricular offerings, propose necessary revisions,
                       and/or offering of new programs.
                   3.  All curricular programs shall be subjected to periodic accreditation by accrediting bodies to ensure
                       the promotion of quality and excellence.
                   4.  The University shall have the power to confer degrees, certificates and titles in the different academic
                       programs.
                   5.  As per BOR resolution No. 58, s. 2018, 93 curricular programs of the ISU were approved for revisions.
