➢ Describe the program's commitment to the service of the community
As presented in Extension Thrust and Direction, the extension programs articulate the social relevance and conscience of the university
as a facilitator of countryside development. The extension team anchors its effort on the communities to uplift their living conditions through the
realization of the potential of every person it works with and in harnessing rural folk capabilities in effectively and efficiently utilizing the gamut
of community services.
It has been stated in the university vision, mission, goals, and objectives that the university is committed to the service and
development of the community. It is also reflected in the objectives of the program under-survey. The extension programs conducted are
anchored to volunteerism, community-based, and participatory approach.
3. OUTCOMES
➢ Present manifestation that there is wholesome coordination between the Extension implementers and the target
clientele/beneficiaries.
The College Extension Program has been forging a memorandum of agreement with the community as their clientele/beneficiaries.
Through the memorandum of agreement, the university, the LGU, and the community were involved in the participatory planning activities. This is
evidence that the University has established a strong linkage with its partner government agencies and NGOs.
