MMICTBM hosted a workshop on High-

Performance Computing (HPC) under the
National Supercomputing Mission (NSM)
and AICTE SANKALP, an initiative by the

Government of India to boost HPC
capabilities nationwide.

DR. BALVIR SINGH THAKUR

The event featured an insightful session by Dr.

Balvir Singh Thakur, an HPC Master Trainer and
Professor from Himachal Pradesh University,
Shimla. Dr. Thakur’s presentation covered
foundational concepts and the latest advancements

in HPC and supercomputing, offering valuable
knowledge to participants.

NSM AND This workshop aligned with NSM and
AICTE SANKALP’s mission to enhance
AICTE SANKALP awareness and expertise in HPC,
supporting growth in this dynamic
MISSION field.
