verses 9, 10, and 11. It has to do with the

doctrines of Christ, the truths of Christ. And

Paul said in verse 2, “Moreover it is required

in stewards, that a man be found”—

successful? Now, that’s another translation,

I’m sure, but he said — “that a man be

found” — What? — “faithful,” not successful.

We'll be successful in God's eyes.

Now, let me just point out a few things.

I'm going to read from verses 9 through 14

in 1 Corinthians chapter 4. Notice some of

the things that are mentioned here. This is

describing Paul’s life. He said in verse 9,

“For I think that God hath set forth us the

apostles last, as it were appointed to death”

— in other words, always in danger of dying
