the latter part of the verse, Paul said, "and I



             was  delivered  out  of  the  mouth  of  the



             lion.”   You  ask,  "Who  in  the  world  is  the



             lion?"  Well, the lion is either Satan or Nero



             or  both  because  they're  both  bloody



             tyrants.  And  Paul  did  talk  about  men  as



             beasts.    In  1  Corinthians  15:32  he  said,  “I



             have  fought  with  beasts  at  Ephesus,”  and



             here, again, in Romans 15:9 he said, “I was



             delivered out of the mouth of the lion.” Did



             Paul die? Yes. So that's not what he's talking



             about. Do you remember what I said earlier?



             I believe that this is not a declaration that he



             would escape death, but he's saying that he



             would be delivered from the temptation



             and the fear of denying the Lord; in other



             words, he's saying, “I will not submit.  I will
