That's like saying if you have the Spirit of
God dwelling in you, if you've been born of
the Spirit. Galatians 3 speaks of receiving
the Spirit at conversion. And I want to give
you just a few other verses about our
identification with Christ: 2 Corinthians 5:17,
Christians are new creatures in Christ Jesus;
Ephesians 4:24 speaks of the new man;
Colossians 3, verses 9 and 10, the new man
created after the image of God. This has to
do with the new birth.
And let me just say this. This will sound
hard to someone who is lost, but to
someone who is saved, it will not sound that
hard because those who are saved have
already crucified the flesh and its affections
