the Christmas celebrations is because I am

jealous for the name of Jesus Christ, and He

is precious to me as in 1 Peter 2 and verse 7.

I preached on that verse out of that chapter

on Friday night at a rescue mission. The Lord

Jesus is very precious to me.

Let me just say this to you as we get

started this evening. I've gone back and

considered some of my sermons because

people will say, "Well, you don't love the

Lord," but this year alone, I have preached

sermons with the birth of Christ mentioned in

them at least 10 to 15 times, and I'll probably

preach on the birth of Christ at least once or

twice as we get into the month of December.

So we honor the Lord Jesus Christ. We honor
