spring board to begin our message. Now, I'm

not against being off on Christmas and

getting together to have a meal and things

like that. I'm not against those kinds of

things — fellowship, getting together to

worship the Lord and witnessing for the Lord

Jesus Christ and things of that nature — but

I do have a problem with the time of year,

and I have a problem with many of the

customs and practices that I want to speak to

you about this evening.

Over the last nearly 35 years, I have given

liberty to people. My wife and I have never,

that I can remember, sat down and tried to

convince anybody not to celebrate Christmas,

but since I've been preaching, I have
