these things. The good guys wear the white
hats and the bad guys wear the black hats,
but you've got to ask the question, “Where
is God in Roy Rogers and where is God in
Gene Autry?”
My dad loved cowboy movies. My
brother and I both are named after
cowboys. You didn't know that, did you?
My middle name is Wayne. Guess where
that came from. My dad named me after
John Wayne. Can you imagine? If he would
have been a Christian at that time, I would
have had a name like John the Baptist or
Paul or Peter or maybe Jehoshaphat, but,
no, he named me after a cowboy. And my
