movies — and we were talking about the
fact that what if you were sitting in your car
at a gas station and somebody ran out of
the gas station and another ran out after
him, and they turned and began shooting at
one another, and one of them falls dead in
front of your car and in front of your
children and they saw that murder. That
would be implanted in their minds for the
rest of their life. It would horrify them. But
they see hundreds of murders every day on
television, and we think nothing about it. A
preacher friend of mine called me the other
night, and we were talking about doctrine
and church and things, and I brought this
subject up. He said, "Man, I've been through
