What we're reading right now is that the

Lord is very serious about discipleship. He's

not playing games. We're not talking about

some halfway Christianity where you're halfway

in and halfway in the world. That's what we see

in most churches today. Churches now are

promoting body tattoos and body piercing,

and they're getting Jesus tattoos all over them.

Preachers are doing this. They're promoting it,

and many supposed Christians are falling for

this.

What is a disciple? I just preached a whole

message on this in May of this year. A disciple

is a follower of Christ. The word “disciple” is

used over 250 times in the New Testament,
