against the Holy Spirit." Well, I would imagine
all of us have spoken against the Son before we
got saved. All of us have said things we
shouldn't say, but what he's talking about in the
context of Matthew, chapter 12, verses 30 and
31, and in the context of Mark, chapter 3, and
Luke, chapter 12, where three times we have

with Pharisees and scribes and he's dealing with
apostasy. He's not talking about somebody who
has made a mistake before he got saved or
somebody who has done something wrong.
He's talking about those who speak out against
Jesus Christ and the revelation that the Spirit of
God has given about Him, those who crucify
Him afresh, those who trod under foot the
blood of the New Covenant whereby they are
to be saved. He's talking about apostasy.
