notice verse 23. I'm going to just read through
this and make just brief comments and give you
something to look at. He said in verse 23, "Let
us hold fast . . ." You find this over and over
and over in the Scripture. “Let us hold fast the
profession of our faith without wavering; (for
he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us
consider one another to provoke unto love and

to good works: Not forsaking the assembling
of ourselves together, as the manner of some
is;” — There’s that word “forsake” — “as the
manner of some is; but exhorting one another:
and so much the more, as ye see the day
approaching.” Now, notice the next few verses
that line up very closely with Hebrews, chapter
6. He said in verse 26, “For” — in other words,
