The Bible Man. I did some reading on this. This

is just pathetic. And then the singing group

Hillsong has a song titled “Jesus is My Hero,” in

other words, my superhero. And then, last of

all, there are gay superheroes, as well, in our

world.

Now, why would I want to preach on this

subject to a congregation that I'm confident

doesn’t read the magazines or watch the

movies and you don’t have these in your homes

and so forth? Why would I want to preach this?

For a few reasons: Many Christians and even

preachers are caught up in this fantasy world

that we're going to be talking about tonight —

and it is a fantasy world, and it keeps people

from God. It keeps people's hearts and

affections as do drugs and alcohol and music
