John Locke, one of the most influential

American writers, was a Unitarian. He

exalted human reasoning above the Bible

and at the same time seemed to defend

Christianity. Now, that's just odd to me. I'm

kind of a black or white person. You either

believe it or you don't. That's the way I treat

Scripture and that's the way I talk to people.

If you say you're a Christian, then you’re

going to believe the Bible from Genesis 1 to

Revelation chapter 22, and you're going to

accept all the doctrine and truths therein.

We may not agree on every little thing, but

we won’t deny the virgin birth, the blood

atonement, the creation story, and the

second coming of Christ.
