You may be seated. I preached a message

recently for the radio dealing with creation

versus evolution, and I'm not going to get

into that thought this morning even though

we have just read a few verses dealing with

the Creator and His creation. But as we

come here to the book of Romans, we find

that the theme of the book of Romans is the

righteousness of God that is revealed in the

gospel. As we look at our text, we can see

the condition of the world and we can see

the need of the gospel showing the

depravity of the human heart and how

nations are without excuse.

Three times in our text we find the

expression "God gave them up" or "God
