text will show us exactly where America

stands with God as a nation — and I assure

you that where America stands with God is

not centered around the economy and

wealth and riches and military power. You

see, ancient Rome was a great nation in the

eyes of the world, and Rome was in power

when the apostle wrote this letter. Rome

was very powerful; it was rich and influential

in the world and had the largest military.

Ancient Rome was the last world power

upon the face of this earth beginning with

Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and then

Rome.

When we compare America with Scripture,

we find that America is not a Christian
