Masons and deists. They were influenced by

enlightened thinkers of the 17th and 18th

centuries with the philosophy of reason and

humanism, and the more you study them,

the more you see this influence even in the

Constitution and the Declaration of

Independence. God is not in those documents.

We find that many of the founders held

to the morality that Jesus taught, but at the

same time, they denied His authority. Many

of them denied the Trinity, the divinity of

Christ, the virgin birth, the atonement for

sins, the resurrection of Christ, and the fall

of man and the need of salvation. Here's a
