we're not under law. This has nothing to do
with the law of Moses. And then you'll notice
with me that 2 Peter, chapter 3, basically says
this again. And 1 John 3, verses 1 through 3,
teach that holiness is a lifestyle that is different
from the world, and 2 Corinthians 7:1 says, ". .
. let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of
the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the
fear of God.” So this is something that can be
done on a daily basis.
In 1 Thessalonians 4, half of the chapter,
verses 1 through 8, is dealing with holiness.
Verse 7 says, “For God hath not called us unto
uncleanness, but unto holiness.” He's dealing
with the sins of the flesh in that chapter. Titus
2:11 says, “For the grace of God that bringeth
salvation hath appeared to all men,” but as you
read through that chapter and look at it closely
