Matthew 23:10 says, "Neither be ye called

masters: for one is your Master, even Christ."

Christ only is Lord and Master. In John

13:13, Jesus says to His disciples, “Ye call me

Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I

am.”

The gospel is designed to restore man to

the image of God and not to the image of
