P. 7

titled “God's Dress Code,” and it's not the same

outline I'm using today; we have one on

             “Modesty” in 2009, “Cross-Dressing” in 2002,

and “The Sin of Nakedness” in 2002. And then

even in the “Head Covering” sermon in 2011 we

address the issue of modesty as well.

I'm going to begin in the New Testament,

and we're going to go to the Old Testament

some, and then I want to come back and finish

in the New Testament. There's nothing new that

I'm going to be giving you this morning. We're

going to go back to some Scriptures we looked

at three years ago and seven years ago and ten

years ago and twenty years ago, and we're going

to remind ourselves of some of these passages.

We know that the purpose of clothing — and

I'm going to say this a few times this morning —

is to conceal and not to reveal. That is the

purpose. We live in a naked society. We live in

                                                             3
