In March, Rosendin
Electric celebrated
Women’s History
Month as we recognized
the contributions of notable
and ordinary women. In 1953,
16 women in the construction industry founded the National Association of Women in
Construction (NAWIC) in Fort Worth, TX as a support network for the small fraction of
women working in the industry. In 1955, NAWIC gained its national charter with the
core purpose “To enhance the success of women in the construction industry.”
Today, nearly 950,000 women are employed in various occupation sectors of
the construction industry in the U.S. Rosendin celebrates our smart and
talented #WomenInConstruction who are leading, inspiring, and building
new paths for future generations. Read about these amazing women
