      Sixth type
      Unlike the previous
      knots, which were either
      wholly or partly made
      around the standing
      part, this knot is made
      entirely around the
      shank. This feature
      gives the knot
      exceptional grip in all
      kinds of conditions. Its
      disadvantage is that the
      hook always tends to be
      at a slight angle to the
      line. which is why this
      knot is better used on
      large hooks or anchors.
