KNOTS FOR
       EYE HOOKS
       Seventh type

       This knot is similar to
       the previous one; it is
       formed entirely on the
       shank and not on the
       standing part. The turns
       close upon each other
       to give an excellent
       grip on the shank, but
       it should be stressed
       that the final result
       has at least two
       disadvantages: the knot
       is quite bulky and the
hook tends to be at an
angle to the line. It is
       recommended for small
       anchors or very large
       hooks.
