Seventh type
This knot is similar to
the previous one; it is
formed entirely on the
shank and not on the
standing part. The turns
close upon each other
to give an excellent
grip on the shank, but
it should be stressed
that the final result
has at least two
disadvantages: the knot
is quite bulky and the
hook tends to be at an
angle to the line. It is
recommended for small
anchors or very large
hooks.
