                               We say “jewelry,” not “jew-le-ry.”

Don’t forget to pronounce the “l” before the “r”

                               without adding an extra syllable.

We should say “JEW-el-ry” or “JOOL-ry.”

NOTE: British pronunciation and spelling are different, and we may

hear some American dialects pronounce it that way, e.g., “jewellery.”

“I bought a new bracelet at the jewelry store.”
