When Ashleigh turned 6, her Dad brought home a gift that started her lifetime passion - a very naugh- ty “free” pony!
Ashleigh’s proudest moments to date are compet- ing at the 1.45m/1.50m level, buying and running her own business. She also receives great satisfac- tion from bringing along many young horses to successful levels, including her mount, HVL Con Air. Continuing to develop young horses to the highest
levels and competing at the Grand Prix level are Ashleigh’s current goals.
Ashleigh bought HVL CON AIR in Ireland as a foal. She started him as a 3-year-old and has brought him up the lev- els, he is currently competing in the 6-year-old divisions. HVL CON AIR’s sire is AIR JORDAN Z, the same sire of her previous Grand Prix horse, AIR RIDE, whom she loved. She is a big fan of the AIR JORDAN Z bloodlines. AIR JORDAN Z became 2017 Best Young Horses Sire in Fountainbleu, as well as Best Sire in the Selle Francais Stallion licensing for 3-year-olds.HVL CON AIR’s full sister HVL MADAME BUTTERFLY, is being developed and currently competing up to 1.30m with US grand prix rider Taylor Manning.
Ashleigh would love some insight John and Beezie may have on preparing and keeping young stallions focused at shows etc..
