Kırmızı rengin güç rengi olarak algılanmasının bir ta- rihçesi var aslında. Bu psikolojik, sosyolojik ve kültürel algılama 40’ıncı Amerikan Başkanı Ronald Reagan’ın eşi First Lady Nancy Reagan ile başlıyor. Bayan Reagan, 6 Mart 2016’da hayata gözlerini kapamış olsa da siyaset dünyasına kırmızıyı kabul ettirmesiyle ve ondan sonra gelen bir çok First Lady’ye örnek olacak tarzı ve asale- tiyle, moda ve siyaset ikilisine imza atan ve “Güçlü ka- dınlar kırmızı giyer” deyimini ortaya çıkaran isim olarak hatırlanmaya devam edilecektir.

The fact that red color is perceived as a powerful color has its history. This psychological, sociological and cul- tural perception begins with First Lady Nancy Reagan, the wife of the 40th President of the United States, namely Ronald Reagan. Although Mrs. Reagan who passed away on March 6, 2016 and coined the phrase “Strong Women Wear Red” with her style and nobili- ty that would pose a model for many First Ladies that would come into office after her and made the political world embrace the color red and merged fashion and politics together will always be remembered.
