UNESCO Dünya Kültür Mirası listesine girmiş olan bölgede görülmeye değer birbirinden güzel yerler bulunuyor.
SİLAHLAR MEYDANI
İspanyollar 400 yıl kadar adeta yönetim merkezi haline getirdikleri bu meydandan adaya hükmetmişler. İhtişamlı binalar yaparak burayı zenginleştirmişler. Eski ABD büyü- kelçilik ve yönetim binası bu meydanda yer alıyor. Ayrıca meydana sonradan dikilmiş ulusal bir kahramanlarının anıtı da yine burada bulunuyor. Meydanın hemen başında Hemingway’in gelip konakladığı otel bulunuyor. Amerika- lıların bölgede söz sahibi olduğu zamanda Amerikalı yazar Hemingway’da Küba’yı çok sevmiş ve bol bol burada za- man geçirmiş. Oldukça ünlü, ödüllü kitaplarının bir kısmı- nı da burada tamamlamış. Geldiğinde kaldığı otel bugün hâlâ açık ve turistlerin en çok gezdiği yerler arasında.
KATEDRAL MEYDANI
Havana’da en meşhur meydanlardan biri de katedral meydanı. İspanyolların inşa ettiği dev bir katedralin yer aldığı bu meydan adını da katedralden alıyor. Katedral oldukça ihtişamlı yapıldığı gibi aradan asırlar geçmiş ol- masına rağmen bugün hâlâ kullanılıyor. Adanın en büyük katedrali olarak geçiyor.
Bu meydanda bir kaç kafe ve Havana Katedrali olmazsa olmaz. Kristof Kolomb‘un naaşının yıllarca burada kaldığı söyleniyor ve dünyada denizden çıkarılan mercan kayala- rıyla yapılmış tek örnek olduğu için ziyaret edip görmeye değecek bir yer.
Malecon: Masmavi suların ortasında upuzun bir sa- hil şeridi olur da kordonu olmaz mı bu adanın. Tabii ki de var. Eski Havana’dan başlayıp 8 kilometre boyunca Ve- dado’ya kadar devam eden sahil yolu oldukça meşhur. Adı Malecon. Kesinlikle gün batımı izlenmeli burada. Gün batımında mükemmel bir görüntü oluşuyor. Dalgalar üs- tünüze üstünüze gelirken harika dakikalar geçireceksiniz. Akşamüstü serinlik çöktüğü için inanılmaz kalabalık oluyor. Keyifle zaman geçirilecek bir yer burası.

WEAPONS SQUARE
The Spanish rules the island from this square for 400 years and used this place as the administration center. They en- riched this place by building magnificent buildings. The for- mer US embassy and administration building are located in this square. In addition, there is monument of national he- roes, which were later erected in the square. The hotel were Hemingway stayed is located at the beginning of the center. When Americans were powerful in the region, the American writer, Hemingway liked Cuba very much and spent a lot of time here. He also completed some of his most famous award-winning books here. The hotel is still open today and is one of the most visited places by the tourists.
CATHEDRAL SQUARE
One of the most famous squares in Havana is the Cathe- dral Square. There is a very big cathedral, built by the Span- ish here. The cathedral is quite spectacular, has been used for centuries and it is still in use. It is the largest cathedral on the island.
Few coffee shops and Havana Cathedral are the import- ant sightseeing points here. It is said that Christopher Co- lumbus’s tomb stayed here for many years, and it is a place worth visiting and seeing as it is the only one made of coral rocks from the sea.
Malecón: while there is a long coastline in the clear blue waters of the island, of course, there is a seawall. Of course, there is. The coastal esplanade, starting from Old Havana and stretching for 8 kilometers to Vedado, is very popular. It is called Malecón. You need to enjoy the sunset here. A perfect image at sunset.
