Küba’nın en önemli özelliği; kuzey sahillerinin Atlantik Okyanusu’na, Güney sahillerinin de Karayipler denizine bakıyor olması. Bu nedenle adanın her köşesinden denize girilebiliyor. Nefis plajları var. Havana’ya yaklaşık 30 dakika- lık mesafede bulunan bembeyaz plajlara sahip Santa Maria bölgesindeki plajı tercih edebilirsiniz. Öyle nefis bir plaj ki suyu kristalden öte. Atlantik Okyanusu’nun böyle berrak suyu olduğunu asla tahmin edemezdim. Havana’ya gelen her turistin muhakkak denize girmeye geldiği bir plaj bu- rası. Uzun kumsalı bütün gün dolu. Zaten Havanalılar tam deniz ve plaj insanı. Onların keyifli halleriyle buralar daha da eğlenceli bir hale geliyor. Gezilecek yerler sadece Havana ile sınırlı değil, harika yerler var. Bunlardan biri de Havana’ya 4 saatlik mesafede bulunan Trinidad.
TRINIDAD
Bu şehir de aynı Havana gibi oldukça dikkat çekici. Bu- rası da 15’inci yüzyılın başında İspanyollar tarafından ku- rulmuş. En önemli ticaret şehirleriymiş. Adada ilk demir yolu bu şehirde yapılmış. Demir yolu sayesinde adanın içlerinden şeker kamışları limana taşınmış.
TRINIDAD TARİHİ RENKLİ EVLERİ
Bu küçük sahil kasabası özellikle de renkli evleriyle göz kamaştırıyor. Bol bol fotoğraf çektirmeyi ihmal etmeyin. Resmen kartpostallık. Renkler canlı, evlerin önü tertemiz, sokaklar daracık. Arnavut kaldırımlı taş sokaklar burayı daha da bir güzelleştiriyor. Oldukça dikkat çekici bir şehir. Özellikle evlerin, pencerelerin yerden tavana kadar olması şaşırtıyor sizi. The biggest characteristic of Cuba is that the north coasts are facing the Atlantic Ocean while the South coasts are fac- ing the Caribbean Sea. That’s why, it is possible to swim ev- erywhere in the island. They have exquisite beaches. You can visit the beach in Santa Maria, with its white beaches, about 30 minutes away from Havana. It is a perfect beach. The wa- ter is quite exquisite. I never expected to observe such clear water in the Atlantic Ocean. This is the beach that every tour- ist needs to visit and swim when visiting Havana. Long beach is crowded all day. Local people in Havana enjoy the sea and beaches. These locations become more enjoyable with the pleasant moods of the local people. Sightseeing locations are not only limited with Havana, there are many great places. One of these locations is Trinidad, 4 hours away from Havana.
TRINIDAD
This city is quite remarkable as Havana. The Spanish founded the city also at the beginning of the 15th century. It was the most important trade city for them. The first rail- road on the island was built in this city. Thanks to the railway, sugar cane has been transported from the island to the port.
HISTORIC COLORFUL HOUSES OF TRINIDAD
This small coastal town is particularly exquisite with its colorful houses. Do not forget to take plenty of pictures. You can use them as postcards. Colors are very vivid, the front of the houses is clean, the streets are very narrow. The cobbled stone streets make this place even more beautiful. It’s a remarkable city.
