EUROPE'S MOST STUNNING CITY, BUDAPEST
Budapest is one of Europe's most beautiful cities with its geographical location, historical monuments, and other attractions. Known as the Danube's pearl, this city was initially formed by the merger of Budin (Buda) and Pest on both sides of the Danube River in 1873. The Chain Bridge, which was built on the Danube River that divides Buda and Pest into two, connected the two cities and became the city's name. Buda is an older and more tourist settlement, and most historical remains are located here. Pest represents the modern face of the city essentially. Although the city was attacked by air strikes during World War II, the Hungarians managed to rebuild and beautify the city. Budapest, Hungary's capital, is also the country's political, cultural, commercial, industrial, and export center. Today, Budapest is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list with many architectural, archaeological, and cultural significance works.
