Malta Adası’nın her köşesinden denize girme imkanı var. Deniz öyle güzel öyle temiz ki dünyanın en güzel suları arası- na girebilecek güzelliğe ve berraklığa sahip. Malta Ada’sı su- yunun güzelliğini ön plana çıkaran harika mağaralarla dolu. Blue Cave olarak isimlendirilen Mavi Mağara suyunun rengi ile dünyaya ün salmış mağaralardan. Fazlaca rüzgâr alan ka- yalarla çevrili adanın doğal oluşumlarında adanın en önemli sembollerinden. Adanın çevresinde Akdeniz’le kucaklaşan çok güzel mağaralar bulunuyor. İsteyenler bu mağaralarda tekne turu yapabiliyor ve yüzebiliyor.
Malta Adası Popeye Köyü ile Turistlerin Gözdesi
Malta adası Temel Reis filminin çekildiği köye de ev sahipliği yapıyor. Köyün adı olan Popeye patlak göz anlamına geliyor. Köy, Temel Reis’in bir gözü büyük olduğu için bu
adı almış. Baş rolünü Robin Williams’ın oyna-
dığı, 1980 yılında gösterime giren Temel Reis filmi çekildikten sonra Maltalılar bu köye gözleri gibi bakmışlar ve tu- rizme kazandırmışlar. Popeye köyü gerçekten tam bir tasarım hari-
kası. Film çekimleri başlamadan önce, 1979 yılında titizlikle ya-
pılan çalışmalar sonucunda inşa edilmiş. Köydeki evler için tüm ağaçlar Hollanda’dan, özel çatı kaplamaları da Kanada’dan ge- tirtilmiş. Film çekimleri bittikten sonra da insanlar burayı bir eğ- lence köyü hâline dönüştürmüşler. Ardadan yıllar geçmiş olmasına rağ- men filmin ekmeğini yemeye devam ediyorlar.
Sosyal medyada beğeni rekorları kıracak mü-
kemmel fotoğrafların adresi de bu köy. Doğal bir fotoğraf stüdyosu adeta. Gün boyu Temel Reis, Safinaz ve Kabasakal köyün içinde gezerek gösteriler yapıyor ve gelen turistlere keyifli zaman geçirtiyorlar. Çocuklar bu köyü çok seviyorlar.

You can swim from any corners of Malta Island. The sea is so beautiful and clean; it is certainly one of the most beau- tiful sea of the world. The island of Malta is full of wonder- ful caves that reveal the beauty of the water. Blue Cave is known with its perfect blue water. The natural rock forma- tions in the islands are one of the most important symbols of the island. There are many beautiful caves around the island that embrace the Mediterranean. You can view the caves with a boat trip or you can swim.
Popeye Village Favorite Place of Tourists
The island of Malta is also home to the village of Pop- eye. The village takes this name because of Popeye. This name is given since one eye of Popeye is bigger. After Popeye, which starred Robin Wil- liams, was shoot in 1980, the Maltese people took good care of this village and it became popular. Popeye vil- lage is truly a complete wonder of design. The village was me- ticulously built in 1979 before the shooting began. For build- ing the houses, the wood was supplied from the Netherlands while the special roofs were supplied from Canada. After the shooting is completed, the people transformed it into an entertainment village. Although many years have passed, the film
continues to be popular.
You can take many wonderful pictures here that would be very popular. It’s a natural photo studio. Throughout the day, Popeye the Sailor, Olive Oyl and Mean Man walk around the village and the tourists
have a great time. Children love this village.
One of the most beautiful addresses for summer holi- days is certainly the island of Malta Island is approximate- ly 2.5 hours away from our country. This perfect holiday island is one of the places where children can enjoy.
