Çok güzel şapkalar yapıyorsunuz. Aslında, geçmişte ülkemizde de çok kabul görmüş bir şapka kültürü var. O dönemlerde zarif hanımlar şapkasız sokağa çıkmıyor. Günümüzde sokakta şapka takan insanları pek görme- sek de şapkaseverler sizi buluyordur diye düşünüyo- rum.
Aslında, şapkaları bir süredir dönem dizilerinde de sık sık gördüğümüz için, insanlar için tekrar çekici hale gel- meye başladılar. İnsanlar tekrar farkına varıyor şapkanın...
Siz kimleri takip ediyorsunuz, kimlerden etkileniyorsunuz?
Sosyal medyayı çok takip ediyorum. Özellikle, yurt dışı kaynakları... Çünkü gerçekten ilham kaynağı oluyor. Ora- da gördüğünüz bir detay, bazen sizin ana parçanızı oluş- turabiliyor. Örneğin, şapkaya file ekleyip bir yerine de taş koysam mı acaba diyerek, yeni yeni fikirler oluşturuyo- rum. Moda dergilerini karıştırıyorum. Dönem şapkaları ve aksesuarlarını takip ediyorum. Neler yapmışlar, ne renk- ler ve hangi malzemeler kullanılmış, mutlaka bakıyorum.

I follow the social media very much. Especially, the for- eign resources... Because it is really a source of inspiration. A detail that you see there can sometimes create a building block for your works. For example, I am creating new ide- as by thinking to add a mesh to the hat and to put a pre- cious stone on anywhere of the hat. I leaf through fashion magazines. I keep track of the hats and accessories of the period. I look for what they did and which colors and which materials they used.
What does LC Waikiki mean to you?
My childhood and a lot of color...
