JUMERİAH PLAJI
Dubai’de dünyanın en güzel plajları var. Her yer bem- beyaz kadife gibi kumsallarla dolu. Kristal gibi bir suya sa- hip körfeziyle de insan bu şehre gerçekten hayran kalıyor. Dünyanın en meşhur plajlarından biri olan, Dubai’nin göz bebeği ve en çok tercih edilen Jumeriah Plajı bu şehir- le özdeşleşmiş, şehrin en önemli sembolü haline gelmiş durumda. Bembeyaz kumsalı gün boyu kalabalık. Sadece turistlerin girebildiği bu mükemmel plaj sıcacık kumlarıyla harika bir tatil imkanı sunuyor. Plaja otobüslerle akın akın turist geliyor. Sıcacık güneşiyle insanları kendine çekiyor Jumeriah Plajı.
Bu plajın en büyük özelliklerinden biri de Burj El Arap ku- lesine, yani dünyanın ilk 7 yıldızlı ünvanını alan yelken otele ev sahipliği yapıyor olması. Büyük ihtimalle duymayan yok- tur bu oteli. Şekli yelken gibi. Ama biz bilmeyenler için yine de tanıtalım oteli.
BURJ EL ARAP
‘Arap Kulesi’ anlamına gelen bu dev otel 1994-1999 yıl- ları arasında yapıldı. Otel, yakın bir zamana kadar Dubai’nin en önemli sembolüydü. İlginç mimarisi ile dünyada adın- dan sık sık söz ettiriyordu ama artık Dubai de bu binadan daha ihtişamlıları var. Yine de nostaljik bir simge olarak hâlâ önemli bir yere sahip.
Tarihte petrol kuyuları keşfedilmeden önce araplar, ba- lıkçılık ve inci çıkarma işiyle uğraşıyorlardı. Bu işi yaparken kullandıkları teknelere benzemesi amacıyla, o tekneler model alınarak yapılmış bir eser Burj El Arap.
650 milyon dolar harcanarak yapılmış yelken otelde 10 bin liradan başlayan ve 100 binlere kadar çıkan oda fiyatları bulunuyor. Yerden 312 metre yüksekte olan yapı 70 kattan meydana geliyor. Jumeriah kumsalına bir köprüyle bağla- nan bu estetik yapıya helikopterle de ulaşmak mümkün.
Buraya tatile gelenler denizin tam ortasında tatil yapı- yorlar. Çünkü bu yelken tasarımlı bina yapay bir adaya, de- nizin tam ortasına yapılmış. İnsan yapımı adalar bakımın- dan oldukça meşhur bu şehir.

Dubai has the most beautiful beaches in the world. There are a lot white sand beaches. With the crys- tal-clear water, it is impossible not to be amazed by the beauty. One of the most famous beaches in the world, the most popular and most preferred beach in Dubai, Jumeriah Beach became the most important symbol of the city. The wind sand beach is always crowded. This perfect beach, visited only by the tourists, offers a great holiday with its warm sand. Many buses bring numerous tourists to the beach. Jumeriah Beach attracts people with its warm sun.
One of the biggest characteristics of this beach is the Burj Al Arab tower, which is the world’s first 7-star hotel that looks like a sail. Probably everyone knows this hotel. It looks like a sail. But for those who don’t know the hotel, let me introduce.
BURJ AL ARAB
This giant hotel, which means, “Tower of the Arabs”, was built between 1994-1999. Until recently, the hotel was the most important symbol of Dubai. With its inter- esting architecture, it was very well known in the world but now there are more glamorous buildings in Dubai. Still, it still holds an important place as a nostalgic icon.
Before discovering the oil wells, Arabs were involved in fishing and extracting pearls. Burj Al Arab has been mod- eled through the ships that were used by the Arabs.
