DÜNYANIN EN YÜKSEK SEYİR TERASI
Burç Halife dünyanın en yüksek binası olduğu için bina üzerinde yer alan mekânlar da böylece hep ‘’en’’ unvanına kavuşmuş oluyor. 800 metre yukarıdaki gözlem katına çı- karak adeta gökyüzünden bakıyorsunuz manzaraya. İnsa- noğlunun neler yapabildiğine gerçekten şaşırıp kalıyorsu- nuz. 12 bin işçi, 22 milyon saat mesai yaparak 6 yıl gibi kısa sürede bu mimariyi tamamlamışlar. Dünyanın her köşesin- den işçiler, ustalar, yüzlerce danışman gelerek bu mimari de çalışmış. Aslında ilk inşaata başlandığı zaman ‘’Burk Du- bai’’ yani Dubai Kulesi olarak isimlendirilmiş ama yaşanan maddi sıkıntılardan dolayı Abu Dhabi Emirliği’nin bütçe çı- karması sebebiyle bina Abu Dhabi Emiriliği’nin adını alıyor.
Aşağıdan bakınca baş döndüren diğer gökdelenler, yu- karıdan bakınca çok küçük görünüyorlar gözünüze. Nor- mal bir apartman gibi duruyorlar. 800 metre yukarı çıkınca doğal olarak bütün ihtişamını kaybediyorlar. Oldukca ilginç duygular ve heyecanlar yaşatan Burç Khalife sabah da ak- şam da mükemmel görünüyor. Akşam üstü olunca da hari- ka bir dans gösterisi başlıyor. Az sonra size suların gerçek- leştirdiği dünyanın en ilginç dans gösterisini anlatacağım.
SU VE IŞIĞIN MÜKEMMEL DANS GÖSTERİSİ
Son yıllarda suların müzikle olan gösterileri aslında oldukça yaygın ve popüler ama Du- bai’de yine bu gösterilerin en görkemlisi yapılıyor. Burj Khalife’nin bahçesinde 30 dönümlük alana yapılan dev yapay göl mükemmel görüntülere sahip oldu-
ğu gibi suların gösterisini de sunu- yor sizlere. 600 bin projektörle ya- pılan bu gösteride sular 275 metre yukarı çıkarken 75 metre boyunca da açılabiliyor. İnanılmaz bir görsel şölen sunan bu dans gösterisi ak- şam saat 6’da başlıyor, 30 dakika aralıklarla 2 dakika kadar sürüyor. İsterseniz ayakta göl kenarında, isterseniz de göl kenarındaki res- toranlarda, kafelerde oturarak izle- yebiliyorsunuz.
ADRENALİN VE HEYECAN
Dubai, çöllerin ortasında doğan bir şe-
hir. Her yer çöl burada. Tarihte bu çöllerde
yaşamış olan Dubaililer bugün de hâlâ çöllere
geliyorlar ve buralarda zaman geçirmeyi çok sevi-
yorlar. Özellikle de safari onların en çok keyif aldığı bir ak- tivite. Lüks ciplerle yapılan safaride inanılmaz eğleniyorlar.
KUM TEPELERİ
Ülke topraklarının yüzde yüzü neredeyse çöllerden mey- dana geliyor. Çöle çıkılınca uçsuz bucaksız çölde insan şaşırıp kalıyor. Cipiniz rüzgârın oluşturduğu o dev kum tepelerinden bir aşağı, bir yukarı inip çıkıyor. İki tarafınız uçurum, adeta bı- çak sırtında ilerleyen Cipler uçurumdan kaya kaya aşağıya ini- yor. Kumun gücü, çölün heyecanı safariyle yaşanıyor. Arabada çığlıklarınızı durdurmanın imkânı yok.
Dubaililer çölde safari konusunda bir numaralar. Özel eği- timler alıyorlar. Safari nasıl yapılır, detaylarını iyice çok uzun süren eğitimlerle tamamlıyor ve safari ehliyeti alıyorlar. Sa- fariyi herkes yapamıyor. Zaten yapması da imkânsız. Kumda araç kullanmak çok zor. Ama bunun eğitimini alanlar hiç bir zorluk çekmeden güvenle safariyi yaşatıyorlar.
Saat 3’de başlayan safariler akşam saat 6’ya kadar devam ediyor. Saatlerce kumların üzerinde son sürat, çölde safari- nin tadını çıkarıyorsunuz. Kumların üstünde uçarken, Cipiniz kumların üzerinde kayarken, ara ara nefes almak için durak-
WORLD’S HIGHEST OBSERVATION DECK
Since the Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world, there are many records about this building. When you go up on the observation deck, located 800 meters above the ground, it is like observing from the sky. You get surprised about the things human beings can create. 12 thousand workers worked 22 million hours and completed this structure in 6 years, which is a short time for such a build- ing. Workers, craftsmen, and hundreds of consultants from all over the world have worked in this architecture. In fact, when the first construction began, it was named Burj Dubai that means the tower of Dubai, but after some financial difficulties, Abu Dhabi Emirate contributed with a budget and that’s why it’s called after Abu Dhabi Emirate.
When you see the other skyscrapers from above, they look small. They look like a normal apartment. Certain- ly, when you are 800 meters high, everything looses its glamour. Burj Khalifa, evoking different emotions and ex- citements, looks perfect in the morning and evening. At late afternoon, a great dance show begins. I’m going to tell you about the world’s most interesting dance show.
PERFECT DANCE SHOW OF WATERS AND LIGHTS
In recent years, the dancing fountain shows are quite widespread and popular, but Dubai hosts the most magnificent of these shows. In the garden of Burj Khalifa, the giant artificial lake built on an area of 30 acre offers excel- lent views of the waters as well. Using 600 thousand projectors, during this show, water goes up to 275 meters while it can ex- tend to 75 meters. This dance show takes place at 6 p.m. and takes about 2 minutes every 30 minutes. You can watch it while you are near the lake or you are sitting in the restaurants or cof-
fee shops around the lake.
ADRENALINE AND EXCITEMENT
Dubai is a city in the middle of des- erts. Everywhere is desert. The people in Dubai that lived in the deserts for a long time still visit the deserts and enjoying vis- iting time in the deserts. Particularly desert sa- fari is an activity they enjoy the most. They enjoy very
much during the safari with luxury Jeeps.
FASCINATING SAND DUNES
Approximately 100% of the lands consist of deserts. When you go to the desert, the endless desert surpris- es you. Your jeep goes up and down from the giant sand dunes formed by the wind. Dubai is the number on in terms of safari in the desert. They’re getting special training. They learn the details with long training and get a safari license. Not everyone can do safari. It is also impossible. It is very difficult to drive in the sand. But those who receive the training run the safari without any difficulty.
Safari starts at 3 o’clock and continues until 6 o’clock in the evening. You enjoy the safari in the desert at full speed for hours. As you fly above the sand, your Jeep slides on the sands, and you pause to take a break. When
