Çok güzel ve eşsiz bir varlık olan kadın, yüz yıllardır film- lere, müziklere, şiirlere ve tablolara konu oldu. Kadın, kimi zaman Leonardo Da Vinci tarafından resmedilirken kimi zaman da Frida Kahlo gibi kendisini yansıtan mucizevi gü- zellikteki portrelere dönüştü. Portreler, o kadar fazla şey anlatıyor ki... Ama, aslında, hangi duygularla yapıldığını hiç- bir zaman tam olarak bilmiyoruz, kendi hayal gücümüzle, zihnimizde canlandırabildiğimiz kadarıyla anlıyoruz ve his- sediyoruz. Çekilen bir kare fotoğraf ve çizilen bir resim, ba- zen kişiyi tamamen gerçek anlamıyla yansıtırken, çok farklı anlamlar yüklenerek geliyor karşımıza... Bazı eserler, çoğu- muzun bildiği; ama gene de hakkında bilgi vermek istediğim eserler... En etkilendiğim dünyaca ünlü portreler, hikayeleri ve küratörlerinden bazıları...
MONA LISA (Leonardo Da Vinci 1452-1519)
İTALYA (1503-1506)
Floransalı dâhi Leonardo da Vinci, Rönesans’ın en iyi res-
samlarından biri olarak kabul görüyor. Kesin olmamakla beraber, Verrocchio’dan eğitim aldığı söyleniyor. Da Vinci, 1482’de Milano’ya taşındığında Dük Sforza için çalışmaya başlar. Sanatçı, fresk teknikleri ve kompozisyonu işleme bi- çimiyle diğer sanatçılardan sıyrılmayı başarır. Biraz dağınık bir karaktere sahip olması, birçok eserini yarıda bırakması- na neden olur. Yalnızca resimle yetinmeyip, heykel, mate- matik ve anatomi gibi birçok farklı alanda da ivme kaydeder. Uzun yıllar İtalya’da bir seyyah gibi dolaşan Da Vinci, birçok kral ve asil için resimler yapar. Üstün zekâsı ve hemen he- men her şeye merak salması, sanatının çeşitliliğine ilham verir. Resim konusunda o kadar ustalaşır ki, 1503-1506 yıl- ları arasında yaptığı “Mona Lisa” tablosu hemen herkesten tam not alır. Mona Lisa’nın yüzündeki hem mutlu hem de hüzünlü ifadenin sırrı, bugün bile tam anlamıyla çözülebil- miş değil. Portrede oturur halde görünen Lisa Gherardini, sfumoto tekniğiyle (renk ve tonlar arasında yumuşak ge- çişleri sağlayan gölgeleme yöntemi) resmedilmiştir. Bu tekniği ilk kez Da Vinci kullanmıştır.

Leonardo da Vinci from Florence is considered as one
of the best painters of the Renaissance. Although not yet certain, it is said that he received training from Verrocchio. When Da Vinci moved to Milan in 1482, he began to work for Duke Sforza. The artist succeeds to shine amongst oth- er artists with his fresco techniques and the way he pro- cesses the composition. Having a somewhat disorganized character causes him to leave many of his works undone. He gained acceleration not only in picture, but also in many di erent elds, such as sculpture, mathematics and anato- my. Having traveled as a traveler in Italy for many years, Da Vinci drew pictures for many kings and nobles. Outstand- ing intelligence and curiosity about almost everything in- spires the diversity of his art. He became professional at

The woman, who is a very beautiful and unique creature, has been the subject of lms, music, poetry and paintings for hundred years. The woman was sometimes portrayed by Leonardo da Vinci, and sometimes turned into miracu- lously beautiful portraits that re ected her as Frida Kahlo. Portraits are telling so much things... But, in fact, we never know exactly in what emotions they were made, we un- derstand and feel as much as we imagine and vitalize in our mind. While a photo frame taken and a picture drawn some- times re ect the person in a totally real sense, it confronts us by being attributed di erent meanings... Some works are known by many of us; But still the works about which I want to give information... Some of the worldwide known portraits, stories and curators I am impressed mostly...

The secret of both happy and sad expression in the face of Mona Lisa has not even been fully solved today. Lisa Gherardini, seen in the portrait in the sitting position, was portrayed by the sfumoto technique (a shading meth- od that provides smooth transitions between colors and tones). This technique was rst used by Da Vinci.
