Gamla Stan
Eski şehrin kalbi Gamla Stan 16. yüzyıla giden bir tarihe sa- hip. 16. yüzyılda inşa edilen bu güzel meydan ve kentin ilk kuruluş noktası Stockholm’un en eski yeri. Eski şehrin en meşhur yeri ise Stortorget Meydanı. Meydan öyle renkli ve güzel ki insan Orta Çağ’a ışınlanmış gibi hissediyor. Renkli Hansa Birliği’nin bir zamanlar loncası olan binaları, çeşme- si, tarihi yapılarıyla meydan tarihin incisi gibi.
Meydanın sembollerinden biri de çeşme
Stortorget Meydanı’nda çok güzel, Orta Çağ’dan kalma bir çeşme var. Hatta bir inanışa göre bu çeşmeden su içen tekrar bu meydana dönermiş. Çeşmenin çevresi hep in- sanlarla dolu. Ayrıca kafeler, restoranlar da hep çeşmenin çevresinde konumlanmışlar.
Nobel Müzesi
Stortorget Meydanı’nda oldukça yoğun olan yerlerden biri de Nobel Müzesi. Bu müze bugüne kadar Nobel Ödülü alan kişileri tanıtıyor. 18. yüzyıldan kalma etkileyici bu bi- nada yer alan Nobel Müzesi, Nobel Ödülü sahiplerinin bü- yüleyici hikayelerini bir araya getiriyor. Sergiler tamamen eğitici. Hem doğa bilimleri hem de kültüre odaklı. Ama- cı, bilgiyi interaktif bir şekilde yaymak. Böylece, çocuklar keşfederken aynı zamanda eğleniyor. Gamla Stan
Gamla Stan, the heart of the old town, has a history dat- ing back to the 16th century. This beautiful square built in the 16th century and the city’s first establishment area is Stockholm’s oldest place. The most famous place in the old town is Stortorget Square. The square is so colorful and beautiful that it feels like you have been transported to the Middle Ages. The square, with its buildings, foun- tains and historical buildings that were once the guild of the colorful Hanseatic League, is very historical.
One of the symbols of the square is the fountain
There is a beautiful medieval fountain in Stortorget Square. In fact, according to one belief, if you drink wa- ter from that fountain, you come back to this square. The fountain is always full of people. In addition, there are ca- fes and restaurants around the fountain.
Nobel Museum
The Nobel Museum is one of the busiest places in Stortorget Square. This museum introduces the Nobel Prize winners. Nobel Museum, located in this building from 18th century, brings together the fascinating stories of the Nobel Prize winners. The exhibits are totally educational. They are fo- cused on both natural sciences and culture. Its purpose is to disseminate information in an interactive way. Thus, children are having fun while exploring. The guides of the museum join the tourists that request information and give informa- tion about Albert Nobel and other Nobel Prize winners.
