Israel is at War:
Christians Must Stand with Her
The Jewish people are once
again facing up to those who
threaten their very existence.
Israelis are enduring bombardments and illegal
cluster bomb att acks from Iran against their citi es
and towns. Hezbollah is at war with Israel from the
north. Not to menti on the global smear campaign,
which is reaching new heights.
In Israel, most schools and many businesses are
closed. Families are living in bomb shelters. Life is
far from normal.
There is a story of an Israeli mother who went into
labour and gave birth in the ambulance on the
way to the hospital. En route, sirens sounded, and
ambulance teams shielded the newborn baby with
their bodies unti l the barrage was over. Thankfully,
mother and child were safely taken to hospital
where they are recovering well. This is just one of
the many examples of what Israelis are enduring
right now.
Despite all this, Israelis around the world are taking
emergency fl ights back to Israel. Instead of fl eeing,
they are going home. Nothing can break their spirit,
because many of them hold fi rm to the Biblical
truth found in Deuteronomy 31:6, that the God of
Israel will neither leave them nor forsake them.
Israelis are resilient. They focus on the good instead
of the bad. Israelis joke that they now have minutes
to get to the bomb shelters instead of mere
seconds, which is what they endured for years with
rockets from Hamas. They understand that Israel
must go to war against the Iranian regime and its
evil terror proxies because the ‘Tyrants of Tehran’,
like Haman before them, are an existenti al threat to
the Jewish people.
The world may not care about Israel, but CUFI
cares! We stand with Israel against Iran. We stand
with the Jewish people - and we know you do also!

the blessing to Israel that the Church needs to be.
