The reborn nation of
Israel is not an accident of
history. It too is a fulfilment
of prophecy, and a living
testimony that God’s Word
is true. It is precisely for this
reason that the world rages
against it.
Standing with Israel in truth
and faith
Flowers, laid by CUFI at the site of the attack, read:
As Christians, we cannot
claim to stand against
antisemitism if we stay silent
about the lies told against
Israel. The enemy tries to
silence us by accusing us
of supporting evil. Israel
is not evil. The IDF are
not terrorists. There is no
genocide in Gaza. Every
false accusation and every
distortion of truth fuels the
fire of hate. We will not allow
Israel to be slandered in this
way.
The Church must rise
to defend truth. We must
speak out for Israel, stand
up for our Jewish friends,
and confront antisemitism
wherever it exists. What
starts with the Jews never
ends with the Jews. When
society tolerates lies about
Israel, truth itself begins to
crumble. The battle for Israel
is the battle for truth.
At Christians United for
Israel UK, we will not be
silent. We will speak truth
boldly, bless Israel faithfully,
and recognise that standing
with Israel is standing with
God.
“You are not alone”
From the members of Christians United for Israel
(CUFI) to the congregation of the Heaton Park
Hebrew Synagogue.
“We are heartbroken for the victims of this
horrific attack, the their families, and for the
Jewish community of Manchester. We stand with
you. We are praying for you. And we love you. Be
assured there are thousands of Christians across
the UK who are standing shoulder-to-shoulder
with you, and we will fight antisemitism with
every ounce of our being.
May the memories of Adrian Daulby and Melvin
Cravitz be a blessing.
With love,
CUFI
