Civic Welcome

09.45 – The Grand Parade will finish at Rugby League Park,
Dumaresq Street, Armidale.
The CIVIC welcome will take place on stage there at 10am

This is only a block below Armidale’s main street and shopping
precinct and 950 metres to the Bowling Club for members to attend
the 2025 Ulysses Club Annual General Meeting.

Only a short drive of 2k back to the main showground gate.

10:00 – Civic welcoming ceremony begins

1. Rally Director - Introduction of self and very briefly
welcomes all members to Armidale
2. Rally Director – Introduction of National Anthem singer
3. National Anthem Singer: National Anthem
4. Rally Director: Introduces the National President
5. National President: Thank you to the people of Armidale for
welcoming the Ulysses Club. and introduces the National
Committee
6. Rally Director: Introduces the Mayor of Armidale
7. Mayor of Armidale
8. Rally Director: Introduces the UCARF Coordinator
9. UCARF Coordinator:
• Presentation of Jo Dearnley Memorial Shield
• Presentation of Good Joint Award
10. MAOTY Coordinator
• Brief explanation of MAOTY & the Award
• Announces the MAOTY winner and the Presentation to
the winner
• Acknowledgement of MAOTY sponsors
