8 riders met at Hexham Macca's ready for a 9.00 am depart. After the usual morning chat
they departed for Broke via Nulkaba & Poklobin for coffee at Magoony's Coffee House. I
joined the group there. With good coffee, homemade pies, huge sausage rolls & plenty of
seating it's easy to see why it's a popular place.
Recharged, we headed for Milbrodale & onto the Putty Road, down through Howes Valley
& Garland Valley. It was really enjoyable with great views, mainly good road with many of
the tight corners being smooth with a new layer of asphalt.

    Fun times .

We arrived at The Grey Gums to find it packed with bikes of all makes & models.

Many different Ulysses groups were represented in their branch logos.
The Wollondilly " Wally's" proved to be a real favourite, see Matt Crowleys "Wally" post.

There was a cake cutting performed by Ken Taylor to celebrate the event.

The owner of Grey Gums told us she is slowly replacing the damaged flags that are on
    display.

On the return trip it was a case of more good times all the way home

              .

Ken reduced his speed to a easy cruise to ensure making it to Broke for fuel, and the only
bit of bad news was Matt running out of fuel near Toronto, but even that didn't dampen his
day & fortunately another rider came to his rescue.
Good weather, people & riding made the trip & the event a great day out.….Glenda.
