        WEDNESDAY RIDE – 02 February 2022
        Thar she blows

        By Ride Leader Mike Parker
What is the windiest day of the week?…… Windsday of course! Or in our case Wednesday. Ok ok I got it,
        no more so called jokes
A group of 19 riders assembled at Macca’s for the ritual ride where as usual a certain member, who shall be
nameless, Wingman, suggested Coogee . BUT that is not the worst!! 3 members voted for it. Me thinks
        some s*** stirring was afoot.

Moving along it was decided we will head off to Goomalling, and this is when the fun started. What, when
flat does not change shape and causes great anger and frustration? I know. No more jokes but! A battery!
Dave Moore’s bike, more from Dave on this later on.
Off we blast losing Karen on the way who returned to assist Timorous Spouse. At Toodyay another 4 could
not resist the temptation of the infamous pies. Maybe they knew something we did not?
Yep the cafe at Goomalling was closed! Seems to happen to me too often. Never to mind off to Wongan
hills we go, a quick 20 minute ride up the road, did someone say KM
The usual food and refreshments were had and in the local cafe where if we had any talent (severely lacking,
the old organ could have been played). After about 45 minutes we all head of back home. Now I have one
pet hate. Road repairs where they put gravel on the surface especially on *&$*@@@*** corners. Nough
        said.
And now a message from Timorous Spouse. AKA Dave.
