Mal and George who are our Social Directors, and support the events that they put so much effort
into arranging.
As I write this a few of us will be up very early tomorrow morning and heading to Lorne and
beyond for the GOR Marathon. This is the Branch’s second major fundraising event for the year.
My heartfelt thanks to Russell Rankin, Dennis Petersen, Stephen Travan, Ron Howell and Peter
Hall for their support in the event. Thanks also to Nigel Lloyd who was prepared to step up at short
notice if any one of us fell sick and couldn’t make it.
Best wishes to all and I hope to see you at Wednesday’s meeting and a forthcoming club ride.
Ride safe.
Cheers Jules.

Gentle’s Jacket
I was curious about Gentle’s jacket, so I asked him about it
(painted by Gentle’s daughter)
• One of the top circles is Gentle’s family
• The other gathering is a representation of the
bike club and club gatherings
• The bottom circles are journeys /travels on
country.
• The eagle is Bunjil, who watches over your back
(Gentle’s) while you're on the road
Thanks Gentle, for the insight!
