17-2-23 Fri night THREE VISITS TO MANDURAH After a long day at work
and feeling like I didn’t want to cook, we set out to the
Mandurah kebabs car park to meet with Chris & Di to take us to Mandurah
Kebabs, Silver Sands. We enjoyed the ride which was
the long way round to get there and guess who was
there waiting for us? Dawn & Steve were saving the table
for us. We ordered our food and sat down to chat and
then OMG Wayne & Bev rode up to us on their “deadly
treadly”. Haven’t seen these guys in an age… and it was
a great night for catching up. That was Friday night,
done & dusted, now to head home for an alcoholic bev-
vie or two!!

Saturday morning meeting in the car park and there were
lots of WSW members waiting for our ride down to Len &
Elaine’s house with Mad Mick. Fabulous weather and a
terrific ride out in the great blue yonder. Of course, the long
way round, but a bit different to last night. Arrived in
Dawesville and we all enjoyed a home cooked bacon & egg
roll, little cakes & tarts and a nice hot cuppa. Thoroughly
enjoyable and delicious. Plenty of chit chats and even though
it was quite warm, we had the breeze from the estuary
keeping our temp down. A great morning with great
company, thanks Len & Elaine for welcoming us all to your
lovely home, no we didn’t destroy anything so are we
allowed back??? Thanks everyone.

Cafe Coast

Sunday was our ride to…. Guess where?? Yeh, Dawesville,
Mandurah… again! The hardest part was spending Saturday arvo
trying to plan a different route so we didn’t double up on the ride.
So, when we arrived at the car park, the riders who came didn’t do
yesterday’s ride, except for Mark & Julie. Derek said, well, let’s do
yesterday’s route with a few changes and that my friends, was it!
Another great morning around the countryside and arriving on time
to the Café Coast at the Dawesville marina at the cut. Da Daah! Out
of nowhere, Brian C arrived, hey, that’s magic! Then our newest
member, Lyall’s wife Anne arrived and so we all feasted on our
morning brunch. Delicious food, great friends and beautiful weather.
Geez we are lucky to have all this on our doorstep. Thanks everyone
