Wine & Cheese night at Helens

Helen was a little unsure of how Friday would go, but she took a deep breath and went ahead
anyway. What a wonderful night. We arrived a little bit earlier in case she needed a hand to set up,
but we it wasn’t necessary as Adam and Helen had it all under control. Tables set, chairs clean and
wine poured into glasses. Everyone brought a plate to share which consisted of olives, cheeses,
salami, pat`e, dips, little toothpicks (very ‘60’s) with meat, cheese, pineapple, gherkin and pickled
onions, figs, pizza, quiche, zucchini slice and loads more… it was a feast.
Derek & I sat back for a short moment and all we heard was the buzz of conversations and loads of
laughter. Everyone was enjoying the night with great companionship. Dessert was served and more
wine flowed. This evening was so special and so successful I think there could be more in the future.
Thanks Helen for opening your home to us and thank you members who came to support the event.

Run for a reason

riders needed!

We need you (and your bike!) Sunday 21st May. We need six riders to carry camera persons
around Perth during the HBF run for a reason.
It is an early start, but usually finishes before lunch. Riders receive $50 for fuel & lunch.
You get to see the runners up close, & carry the camera persons to a couple of different locations
to get pictures of the run. If you can carry a pillion safely,
