CORNER MARKERS
With the number of new members, we need to highlight the job of corner markers, as it is a very
important job to keep all the riders heading in the same direction. It should be mentioned in the
“before ride meeting”. Riders should stop the idle chat and listen to the ride Leader.
The person following the ride leader is the next corner marker, when the lead rider indicates he
is turning, the rider following directly behind is required to stop at the corner to indicate that the
ride is turning here and stay there until he sights Tail End Charlie, again this person is
nominated before the ride starts.
So please let’s all do our bit to make our rides hassle free and riders not wandering all over the
countryside. ~ Greg
