On behalf of the National Committee, I would like to offer

a warm welcome to all Ulysses Club members attending
the National Rally in Warwick this year over the week of 4
to 10 April 2022. Getting this event going has been
because of an exceptional effort by the organising
committee during one of the most challenging periods in
our history. The last two years have been disrupted by not
only the Covid19 pandemic but also bushfires and of late
the floods in SE Queensland and northern NSW. There
have been other challenges as well, but now here we are,
ready to enjoy and what attractions the local area has to offer. I hope that
those attending the National Rally are able to enjoy themselves and both catch
up with old friends and make some new ones along the way.

We were very fortunate in 2021 to have a National Rally in Orange, albeit a
very short event organised very quickly - which luckily slotted nicely in to a
short period between Covid lockdowns. This time around we are on the way
out of the pandemic. So I urge all members attending the Rally to make the
best possible use of the opportunity to gather once again as club members and
friends.

On behalf of the National Committee, I would like to extend our gratitude and
congratulations to the National Rally organising committee for their
perseverance during difficult times to get the job done and I urge all members,
whenever they get a chance, to thank the event organisers and volunteers that
will make this an event to remember.
