On behalf of the Southern Downs, it is my very great
pleasure to welcome the members of the Ulysses Club
to our region. I’m delighted that your club has chosen
to hold its 2022 National Rally in Warwick and I’m sure
your visit will be memorable and full of good times.

I duly note that the Ulysses Club lives by the motto
Riding is about the journey not just the destination –
I hope you enjoy exploring the region on the back of a bike as much as the
places you visit across our region. From boutique beer and award-winning
wine to beautiful natural attractions or retail therapy, diversity is one of the
hallmarks of the Southern Downs. We are home to a myriad of unique
experiences, whether you are visiting the ranges of the eastern escarpment
around Killarney, the trap rock area that dominates the western part of the
district or the Granite highlands, I’m certain that this part of the world will offer
something for everyone.

I highly recommend downloading our Southern Downs and Granite Belt
Tourism App which will give you the region at your fingertips. As a unique point
of interest, the app includes a quirky Dunny Dash Art Trail challenge that will
have you chasing down public art around our region to add to your Dunny Roll!

I hope you enjoy your club celebrations and the comradery of catching up with
old and new friends. While we live in the coldest place in Queensland, I know
you will experience the warmest and friendliest people on the planet and you
will see for yourself why Southern Downs is a great place to live, work, play
and stay.
