Jim raised $170 from the Ride and a Total of $5000 for November – Well Done!
th
Alistair’s Waroona Ride Sunday 20 November
A perfect cool morning as 8 riders met at the famous arches in Beldon.
A straight forward ride, down the freeway, left on to Reid (where were you Steve?) and down Tonkin to
Mills Rd East.
On this occasion, Bruce stayed with us as we veered right on Tonkin, perhaps too warm to be
heading to Meekatharra this time of year.
Through Roleystone to Brookton Hwy, back towards Armadale before heading up Hill St and
through to Albany Hwy.
South on Albany Hwy and then right through Mount Richon took us on to the South Western Hwy.
Soon we were through Byford and turning left in to Nettleton heading for Jarradale.
The cafe was quite quiet, however, coffee and food was good.
Tim brought us up to date on his new (2nd hand) Honda acquisition having recently said goodbye to his
(in the end) not so trusty BMW.
That’s now two Beemers that have, as Rolls Royce would say, ’failed to proceed’.
Ross was leaving us at the South Western Hwy after morning tea due to lunch time family commitments.
He also thought he may have a rear tyre puncture so didn’t want to risk anything. We didn’t see him on the
side of the road on our return trip so guess he either got picked up by a breakdown truck or made it home
ok.
After Jarrahdale, south to North Dandalup (no one needed fuel) and left in to Del Park Rd to Dwellingup,
which, as always, was very busy with bikes and families enjoying the spring weather.
