September 2022 Exhaust Notes  - Edition No 317                                           


        Wed 10/8, Midweek Ride to Gisborne. 250km. Led by Graham Aitken
        14 riders to morning tea in Bacchus Marsh, 11 to Gisborne.
        Weather was fine. A very good day out.

        Rides for the next month:
        Sun 21/8, Sunday Ride to Melton, via Blackwood. 230km. Led by Gentle.

        Sun 4/9, NO RIDE – Father’s Day.

        Wed 14/9, Midweek Ride to Camperdown via Colac. 300km.           Led by Mark Nicoll

        Welfare Report:
        One member who is unwell is being followed up.

        General Business:
        • Coffee Run held today was very well attended with 14 members riding.
        • Chuck Wagon Update: EOI’s sent out one month ago, with no interest at this time. Future of C/W
          will be considered next month, having allowed 2 months for EOI’s to be sent in.
        • Macedon Memorial Ride: not sure whether this is taking place. Keep an eye out for details in the
          Ulysses VIB.

        Next Meeting: To be held on 21 September 2022 commencing at 7 p.m., meals from 6.00pm.

              The priest asks, "Is that you, little Joey Pagano?"
              "Yes, Father, it is."
              "And who was the girl you were with?"
              "I can't tell you, Father. I don't want to ruin her reputation."
              "Well, Joey, I'm sure to find out her name sooner or later so you may as well tell me now. Was it Tina Minetti?"
              "I cannot say."
              "Was it Teresa Mazzarelli?"
              "I'll never tell."
              "Was it Nina Capelli?"
              "I'm sorry, but I cannot name her."

              "Was it Cathy Piriano?"
              "My lips are sealed."
              "Was it Rosa DiAngelo, then?"
              "Please, Father! I cannot tell you."
              The priest sighs in frustration. "You're very tight lipped, and I admire that. But you've sinned
              and have to atone. You cannot be an altar boy now for 4 months. Now you go and behave
              yourself."

              Joey walks back to his pew, and his friend Franco slides over and whispers, "What'd you get?"
              "Four months vacation and five good leads...
